Ideal candidates for the Mid/Senior Automation QA Engineer role have sound knowledge of designing, developing and applying automated testing strategies and building automated testing frameworks. They have the capability to create, analyze and verify the best automated test approaches and to execute smoke, acceptance, integration and regression testing. They also understand the business, our products and services and their uses for our customers.
This role comes with the responsibility of getting empowered to support critical operations from small to very large international airports worldwide.

- Contract based on PFA or SRL with our UK entity

Responsibilities:
- Ensures and keeps our product quality standard throughout all product streams
- Creates/maintains/updates automated tests in Cypress
- Effectively documents test coverage, identifying and recording defects, bugs, errors, and other associated issues
- Performs automated regression and smoke testing
- Performs load testing/ database and data testing
- Uses postman/automation framework for api testing
- Performs testing activities based on the agreed testing process
- Provides training to the rest of the team if needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years experience in automation
- Experience using Cypress framework
- Knowledge of CSS, HTML, and JavaScript
- Ability to write comprehensive automation tests and test suites, locating and solving code-related errors
- Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman etc) and MongoDB
- Advanced knowledge of SDLC
- Self management and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Romanian

Our recruitment process
We will use a two step process for the recruitment of this role:
- You will have to complete an automation test using Cypress. This will be over email and you will be expected to respond within 5 business days (no extensions will be granted).
- A final interview with the candidates that have been selected based on the results from the assignment phase
